The Run S.M.A.R.T. Project is a personalized training experience. Our mission is to promote health and fitness through running to people of all ages, abilities and means. Our Project is to provide information, insightful feedback and the appropriate motivation necessary for you to achieve your individual goal(s). By providing you access to a broad range of running experience and sport-specific knowledge, together we can effectively analyze both your strengths and your weaknesses. In doing so, attention will be paid to each client's particular needs. This outside perspective will contribute to your awareness of proper training methodologies. And the result will be an appreciation for the sport and measurable growth for you as a runner.

The Run S.M.A.R.T. Project is our opportunity as athletes and professional coaches to help support our Olympic endeavors as we give back to the running community, so that others can reach their goals with us.

Even the most knowledgeable of athletes have a tendency to lose objectivity while attempting to train themselves. The Run S.M.A.R.T. Project solves that problem by working with you as an individual in creating a program specifically tailored to meet your goal(s).

People seek assistance from tax, investment, dietary and other various consulting professionals. But not as many options exist when it comes to receiving proper advice and assistance with your running. If you are going to put the time and energy in, why not do it the "S.M.A.R.T." way?

As coaches we can offer:

Regardless of the distance, whether it be a 5k or a marathon, we can provide you with a personalized training program in your area of focus.

Dependent upon your chosen level of S.M.A.R.T. coaching, we'll monitor your workouts for progress.

The Run S.M.A.R.T. Project does not send you a training program and move on to the next athlete. We work with each individual, providing feedback throughout the duration of the experience.

The benefits of working with a coach extend beyond the tangible. We'll be there for you to motivate during those inevitable encounters with self-doubt and inertia.

No athlete can rationally expect to coach him or herself. We provide you with an objective approach.

The running community is very tight-knit. In support of your training, we can provide you with access to various resources, including referrals to knowledgeable medical professionals.

Eat Organic

Organic foods offer many nutritional benefits that can make a huge difference in your training. Runners who incorporate more organic foods in their diet are reducing the levels of antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, preservatives and synthetic dyes in their system. These chemicals which are found in processed foods can raise the level of free radicals in your body. Free radicals cause cellular damage which can weaken a runner’s immune system and increase inflammation throughout the body. When inflammation is increased a runner’s rate of recovery will be much slower and their risk of injury much higher.
