Head Coach Rosetti Forced to Flaunt Marathon PR
In a recent company spirit blunder, Brian found himself literally wearing his accomplishments on his sleeve. At a local NYC running hot spot, Brian was a part of a employee program whereupon he was to wear a significant PR printed on the shirt he would be wearing. While his converted 1500M personal best (4:01 mile) is quite impressive, most of the runners viewing this "4:01" printed on his shirt were in fact marathoners, and thus, more familiar with marathon times. As marathon runner after marathon runner (ranging in fitness levels not exactly equal to our esteemed head coach) found comfort, as well as pride, in matching or besting Brian's false marathon PR; Brian humbled himself time and time again, never unveiling what the true meaning of 4:01 printed on his shirt was. Three cheers for Bri! Hip Hip Hoorah! Caps off to the noble, and humble Brian Rosetti, always giving back to the running community at the sacrifice of not only his body, but this time, his mind and spirit.

I'm running a marathon soon to set this record straight.
I don't know who did the coverage on this event, but I must say that this is my favorite post so far.
Absolutely! The journalistic potential of this blogger is phenomenal. But, I must say, three cheers for Coach Rosetti---err, I mean . . . can't wait to see the true marathon PR in the not too distant future.
ps: sorry, I had to. This story was just too good---I'm thinking of expanding it and submitting it to the Washington Running Report, or event the New York Times.
