Rounding out the Run SMART results at the 2010 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon is Becky Angeles of Murphy, TX. Becky set a new marathon PR by 1 minute and 10 seconds finishing 14th female overall out of 2500+ in a very impressive time of 2:48:04 (6:25 per mile)! To recap, the Run SMART Project had 7 athletes run the Rock ‘n Roll half marathon and marathon and 4 walked away with new PRs, one came up just shy of a new PR after a 10 month layoff, and 2 improved on their performances from last year’s race by roughly 5 minutes each. Congrats to all the hard work our clients and coaches put into this effort – it certainly paid off.
